Sending to a Business, Redirected Packages and Weather Delays
Every effort is made to ensure that your gifts are delivered fresh and on time to their destinations. Unfortunately, we cannot extend our guarantee when an incorrect address is given or when extreme weather conditions create a shipping delay.
Cookies that are sent to businesses require a signature and we must have the recipient's name, department and street address of the business.
Cookies being shipped to residential addresses are delivered with no signature required. If no one is home, UPS or the USPS at their discretion will leave the package in a safe place at the home.
We assume no responsibility for the packages that are left, although problems are rare.
If UPS determines that the area is unsafe, they may, at the discretion of the driver, choose to not leave a package. In that event, the driver will leave a note posted to the door to contact UPS for re-delivery.
For any reason that an order cookies gets returned to us for reasons such as refusal and incorrect address, the charges are not refundable.
We do not refund money on hospital deliveries. If you ship to a hospital it is at your own risk. Many delivery problems involve hospitals that do not deliver gifts to a patient before they leave the hospital.
Package processing at large office buildings, hospitals, colleges or universities may create delivery delays.
In cases when we deliver to large offices or buildings you must contact the recipient and let them know a package is arriving. Many companies have one central location for deliveries and that department is responsible for getting the package to your recipient once it is delivered. We also recommend that you make sure the person you are buying the item for is actually going to be in the office; we cannot be responsible if a person has left early for the day and does not receive their cookies.
Since the cookies are perishable we can not take returns on an item. If an item does come back for any reason and needs to be re-shipped, we will not use the same cookies and may charge for new cookies to be used in the gift. This is a safety issue and it is important that the recipient receives fresh cookies.

All deliveries are made by Priority Mail or UPS.
Orders must be received before or by 8:00 a.m. EST, to be "shipped" the same day. Some restrictions apply. Only deliveries within the United States can be made at this time. We are unable to deliver to APO and FPO addresses. Shipping and handling charges are based on the size and weight of the package.
